The Founder of THE SORORITY community and application, Priscillia ROUTIER TRILLARD, wished breaking the isolation of women and people from gender minorities on a daily basis.

Various psychological factors are activated in cases of aggression or violent situations, in particular the shock effect (the physical and/or psychological blockage of the person experiencing the situation) and the bystander effect (the inaction of the public witnessing the action).

The first idea was the reversal of this shock effect : shifting it back onto the attacker, thanks to the collective and immediate mobilization of the community. The person find themselves in a context and situation not initially anticipated, they must adapt to new information from its environment and cannot continue their actions.

The second primordial idea was finally the use of technology for the benefit of humans.

Creating a caring community through THE SORORITY application allows emergence of a bond between people who feel isolated and those who wish to actively help.

Interactions take various forms depending on needs, timing and affinities : via map to find local help or even the provision of a safe place to escape as quickly as possible, the research to find support, attentive and caring listening at any time, via chat or call for discussions and immediate or ongoing assistance.

We are everywhere, ready to help and support each other at any time.

I feel even more surrounded. This kindness feels good. THANKS"

Coming from different backgrounds, the founding team of THE SORORITY is passionate, deeply committed and draws its strength from the complementarity of its skills: Project management, Communication, Graphics and Developments.

Thousands of volunteers and users from civil society relay and support our actions around the world (actors, journalists, entrepreneurs, employees, independents, association leaders, students, retirees) but also politicians and professionals from the authorities.

If we get there, it's thanks to everyone. We will go as far as possible. Together.

“I believe deeply in the human connection and the power of the collective to act concretely together in favor of a common cause.

Kindness breeds kindness.

We will do everything to go as far as possible.

Together. For all. »
