IN 2024, LET'S PLAY TOGETHER TO PROTECT WOMEN

Spot ProtéJOns (long version)
Our mission
Associations A shelter that saves lives and THE SORORITY FOUNDATION join forces under the banner of ProtéJOns , a large-scale citizen aid movement.
Together, we are fighting violence against women by providing support and security during the 2024 Olympic Games through the power of the collective .
Let us create this legacy together . In the face of violence.
On the street, on public transport, at home, before, during and after the Olympics, we are all a united team.

The 2024 Olympics: A security issue to protect women
01
Increase in incivility and street harassment
More than 15 million visitors are expected for the Olympic Games, which will automatically lead to an increase in daily incivility experienced by women.
Increased alcohol consumption will only increase these effects on the streets, on transport and in nightclubs.
03
Increased saturation of emergency accommodation
Ten percent of hotel rooms in the Île-de-France region have already withdrawn from the emergency accommodation agreement with the government to focus on tourism. This trend will be reinforced as the Olympic Games approach, making it even more difficult for women who are victims of domestic and intrafamily violence to find safe places .
02
Increase in domestic violence
It has been proven that violence, particularly domestic violence, increases significantly during major sporting events ( alcohol consumption, aggression and frustration related to results, etc. ). An English study highlights the fact that on match nights there is a 26% increase in domestic violence in the event of a draw and a 38% increase in domestic violence in the event of a defeat by the supported team.
04
Resurgence of parallel networks of pimping and prostitution
Prostitution networks are being organized in the run-up to the Olympic Games, particularly among young local and foreign populations. This phenomenon has been observed for several months and reported by numerous international associations and institutions.

LET'S ACT TOGETHER.
FOR EVERYONE.
In the street, on public transport, in party venues, at home
Let's fight together against all forms of violence against women
Harassment, isolation, incivility, domestic and intra-family violence
